From Katie B…
This week I’ve been juggling job interview prep, work and listening to podcast edits. I’ve booked onto a few journalism workshops across March which I’m hoping will give me the confidence to write more! Hard work and productivity goes a long way - just got to keep going!
From Katie W…
I have some *personal news* - I’ve been hired by the podcast production company, Bespoken Media as a freelance editor! I have already edited three podcasts for various different clients and let me tell you, it is surreal that I get to do something I love so much and get a pay check at the end of it. So I have been making sure I stay on top of invoices and noting down incomes. It is PERFECT timing that our new episode drops today and we’re giving you the link right now before announcing it.
In our brand new episode, we natter to Emma Wilkinson and Dr Lily Canter from Freelancing For Journalists all about financing and money as a freelancer. They offer their professional advice on where to start and how to keep organised.
